Pele, the famous soccer player, once said, "When you control the ball, you control the score." This year's conference is about putting the ball at your feet and giving you the skills you need to achieve your business goals.

We want this forum to help you make the most of your payment system solution; we want it to deliver the information you need, so that you return, year after year, to explore your successes and challenges, and to share your experiences. Therefore, we want you to define the agenda and contribute to the activities on it.

As you read the contents of this folder, you will see that the programme of events for Conference 2004 is similar to last year's, with one important exception: the list of speakers includes more of our clients than ever before. Your peers will give four of the eight presentations on Wednesday and I am delighted that [name omitted], Chief Operating Officer of Barclaycard International, will be our chairman. On Thursday, representatives from two of our banks will join their MasterCard and Visa partners to present workshops on commercial cards and chip migration.

This is the exciting first step in passing our conference 'Over 2 You'. During the event, we will be asking you for your feedback on this year's programme and your suggestions for future events. Let's work together to create an annual forum that helps you score repeated victories over your competitors.
